Jacob
Well my poor baby just nothing seems to go right for him...Lets start that he was born at 10 pounds and 1 ounce. His tounge was large and his head was big, so they did a bunch of testing and sent him to a neurologist, he was discharged from there and was ok. At one point he was sleeping too much on one side and his head started to grow flat on that side, so I was threatened for him to have to wear a helmet...that was enough for me...and I got him to sleep on the other side, all was good, no helmet...then he started with all the snoring and wound up with sleep apnea then his tonsils out at 2 years of age. Then the night before thanksgiving he fell and broke his clavicle. On the xray Jim noticed that his heart appeared to be on the wrong side, so I called a dr here and sure enough she believes the same, it is called dextrocardia..While at the dr's office she was checking him over and thinks she might hear a heart murmur. She is now waiting to hear from a pediatric cardiologist and thinks we might need a echo done on him and a follow up xray to verify things...so now there might be more wrong...I am about to loose it and just pray and hope that there is nothing more...Basically my baby has been seen by neurologist, ENT, and now cardiologist and is not even 3...he has had US and CT of the head, blood work, surgery, xrays and soon an echo...I do not know how mothers do it....

Commercial
We were watching TV...This commercial comes on for these things you put on your feet to slide around on the carpet. JR goes "I want these too mom" I told him he was to little, his response "it says for all ages" I again said maybe in a couple of years I will buy them for you...His response "well if I was 18 or older I would call"!!!! He loves to repeat commercials.

Out to eat
We went to a Japanese Steak House. You sit around this grill and they make your order right in front of you and do a little show. JR got a kids steak meal and they actually used Ribeye for that!!! I could not believe that and it was not like it cost that much...anyways when the guy put the steak fo JR's on the grill, JR goes "NO THAT IS WHAT I CALL STEAK!!!" He was soo cute...it was really good food and a lot of it.

swimmers
Quote: JR has school Mon/Wed/Fri afternoons. This morning I told JR he had only a few more minutes to play a game before he had to take a bath and eat some lunch. His response "good, then I have to brush my teeth after lunch so I don't get..(he pauses and thinks for a minute and finishes) sugar bugs on my teeth" He has never had an interest in brushing teeth, must be something from school...
One from yesterday that I thought about...JR calls down the stairs "mom you do not need to wipe me!" I asked why did you poop...he responded "yeah but it was just little poops so there is nothing there..." He was fully redressed and I did check his bottom and he was ok but he seems to think that unless it is a big poop you do not need to wipe and of course he never flushes, so I found that one too!!!
Picture:
My boys think by wearing goggles in the tub they will actually go under water...RIGHT!!! that did not happen...they do just like to wear them because then they can splash more and not get water in the eyes and they will put just barely their heads into the water and think they are in some huge lake or something.

trying it out
OK so here it is Jen!!! I am going to try on the quote a day and pic a day just for you!!!! or try at least every couple of days..
Quote: while at Target walking past the toys JR stops me and says "I want this for Christmas too" (that being the two foot tall dinosaur that you can ride on of course). My only response was pretty much I am sure you would like that. Then JR continued on to tell me "but I do not think that will not fit in Santa's sleigh, the box is too big" after that he was done talking about that.
The first picture is of Jacob after asking for candy, I went and got the candy and then he did this funny thing where he bent over with his hand up behind him waiting form me to had him the candy
The second one is of JR playing the WII action packed. He bowls like a 220 on that game, I think the best I got was like 150.

christmas question
JR is sleeping in my bed with me this week because Jim is on night float at the hospital. Last night as we were going to bed, I looked at JR and asked him "what do you really want for christmas" here was his response.
a pair santa socks
a telescope
a scooby-doo movie
and a batman toy
I really could not figure out where he came up with the santa socks...but i was really impressed with his list. I then proceeded to look at Jacob and ask him the same question. Here is his repsonse
A party (well what came out was a PODY?)
and candy (go figure)
Love my BOYS!!!!!

winter
For as much as I HATE to be cold, they boys had a lot of fun playing in the snow, I think they would have stayed out all day if I would have let them but their poor faces were so rosey when they got in.

blister
Heard a loud scream and turned around to find Jacob had just touched the fireplace, he then fell asleep with his had in some cool water after screaming for almost an hour. My poor baby, now it is all wrapped up because the blister popped.

Pumpkins
here are some pictures of pumpkin carving and what they looked like, Jacob really like to paint the blue so we made a Michigan one out of his. JR wanted grandma to put the cut out part of the pumpkin on for a mask...
halloween
Halloween pictures, my little Jedi and Spiderman!!! As you can see Jacob was not too fond of the mask.

pictures
Well I finally did some pictures of the boys...it is more like their 4 1/2 and 2 1/2 year pics..but I was happy with them. It is always hard to get Jacob to actually look at me, I might post some more because I got a few on the railroad tracks too in his overalls.

after surgery
The surgery went very well. I had a really hard time when they came and got Jacob, he went to the nurse ok but then started whimpering mommy...then i filled with tears and started to cry. When he came back to the room in the crib "cage" he was just starting to wake up and right away tried crawling out when he saw me. Once he started to eat he would not stop and we wound up not having to stay the night. He has been since then very whiney and clinging to mom, I finally yesterday went back to work and he did ok without me. Today now is Oct 9 and he is doing really well. All the scabs are off and I think we are in the clear. Thank you for everyone that thought and prayed about us on that day.
