roller skating
We went to a birthday party for one of Jim's co-workers at a rollerrink. It was soo much fun and brought back a lot of memories. Jr and Jacob both did well for their age. Jr just skated around and Jacob like to walk on the carpet and hold on to the wall and dance around. Jacob was just a hoot. He loved the food and tried pretty much getting down on the rink. JR was just mr. independent and wanted noone to help him..
ice skating con't...
This was JR getting ready and excited about getting on the ice and then the rest of the pictures are of Jacob goofing around cheering brother on!!!
first time ice skating
Jim went and bought JR some ice skates...he is dreaming that JR will be the next Stevie Y :) here is how he looked...it took him awhile to figure it out but he now can at least slowly get around the ice (better than me)

little temptation of spring
It was such nice weather when we went to holland a couple of weeks ago. The boys were loving playing outside.
pirate night
Jr and I went to a mother/son pirate night at his school. It was so much fun for him. We had to go to all these different stations and do things together.

bowling
Sorry such a long time, was trying to get into the facebook thing. Again already now that we have internet, I have been upstairs for about 10 min and the boys are fighting downstairs.
About 3 weeks ago, JR and Jacob went to a birthday party at a bowling alley...They had so much fun just playing with everyone plus the fact that there was no way to get a gutter ball :) During the bowling at one point the lights all went out and there was like a disco lights, so much fun for the kids. I found out how much they really like it !!

update
Ok so I know it has been a long time since I have been on...Now that the holidays are over and I am finally staying put for a while in my own home I might be able to do more..We recently had a surprise aniversary and birthday party for my parents..they both turned 60 and it is their 40th wedding aniversay this month. The turnout was good but we had expectecd a few more..The nice part was that it actually turned out to be a surprise, it is hard to talk to them all the time and not say anything especially when I was talking to my mom when I was already in holland only miles from her house. I have not actually taken more than 20 picture since christmas, more of a reason why I have not updated much. So hopefully I will have more to come over the next week...we shall see!!!!

cardiologist
Ok, so we had the appointment with the pediatric cardiologist on Thursday. Jacob does have a heart murmur but it is benign and the Dr. states he will grow out of it someday most likely. The repeat xray shows he does not have dextracardia, which is soo strange but we are thankful...everyone (multiple dr's looked at the first xray and all thought the same thing). So all is good again on our end and he is healthy once again...but I just keep waiting...someday something is going to happen and they are going to say "now that is why all that other stuff happened, now it all makes sense" but I will pray that doesn't happen...thank you to all for thinking about him through this...

extra's, holidays
This was a picture of the day that we got 12 inches of snow...for anyone that has lived inland more in Michigan, they know that is unheard of in Sagiaw..The boys had a hayday our their with Jim snowblowing and them shoveling.
This is a picture of another Santa's secret shop present that JR bought for Jacob...it was a little hockey set, once Jacob opened it they played with it nonstop until basically it broke...JR was just sooo excited to play with it....
